A little crop. A better fit.

Crop, rotate and add image margins

Edit PNG, JPG and static WebP on your device. Select a crop for each image, rotate in 90° steps, add canvas margins or trim transparent edges. Start with PNG to preserve transparency, then save individual results or a ZIP.

How do I crop an image without uploading it?

Choose an image and open Edit image from its row. Drag over the preview or enter the left position, top position, width and height in pixels. Apply edits and choose Process images. Picnori creates a new file in your browser; your original file remains unchanged.

How to edit images with Picnori

  1. Choose and edit each image

Choose up to 20 images, with a maximum of 20 MB per file, 100 MB combined and 32 million pixels per image. Each file has its own crop, rotation and margin settings.

  2. Crop or trim transparent edges

Select a region freely or start with a centered 1:1, 4:3 or 16:9 crop. Trim transparent edges removes only pixels with zero alpha from the outer edges of the current selection. It does not erase a white background.

  3. Rotate and add margins

Rotate left or right in 90° steps. Set top, right, bottom and left margins separately in pixels, with transparency or one solid color. Preview the edited dimensions before applying.

  4. Set export options and process

Operations run in this order: crop (including any transparent trim), rotate, add margins, then resize and encode. Format, quality and resize settings apply to the whole batch. Edited canvases and resized outputs are limited to 16,000 px per side and 32 million pixels.

Image editing questions

Are crop and rotation settings shared across my batch?

No. Edit each image separately; this helps when subjects and dimensions differ. Export format, quality, JPG background and resize settings are shared. Only successful results are included in the ZIP.

What happens to a completely transparent image?

Transparent trimming leaves its selection unchanged and displays a message. Picnori does not silently replace it with a 1 × 1 image. Faint, partially transparent pixels are retained.

Will margins keep their exact pixel size when I resize?

Margins are added before resizing, so they scale with the edited canvas. For exact margin pixels, keep the main Resize setting at Keep original size. For example, a 100 × 60 crop rotated 90° and padded by 10 px on all sides becomes 80 × 120; resizing to 50% produces 40 × 60.

Does Apply edits immediately change my download?

No. Apply saves settings for the selected file in this tab. Process again to generate a new result. Cancel discards changes made since opening the editor. Reset all edits clears the draft; apply it to restore that file’s original geometry.

Can I rotate by any angle or remove a photo background?

This editor supports 90°, 180° and 270° rotation. Arbitrary-angle rotation, subject cutouts and solid-background removal are not available. PNG and WebP can retain transparency; JPG fills it with the chosen JPG background.
